PURPOSE: A remote protective observation system and a method thereof are provided to use a simply device made of a door sensor and a motion sensor without any attachment to a body of a solitary elder person, thereby grasping a condition of the solitary elder person at a remote place and making an action for it. CONSTITUTION: A gateway(120) periodically senses a door sensor(112) and a motion sensor(111) to transmit operation information, a gateway ID and sensor abnormality information of each sensor. A database(144) connects and stores the gateway ID, personal information, an address and a telephone number of a solitary elder person and stores telephone numbers of a manager and a control office which manage the gateway. A controller(146) displays a long time no-motion mode or an absent mode on a web page or sends it to the manager or the control office by a text message. |
