FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to agriculture, in particular to processing of fiber plants in the form of flax, hemp and sisal. Method includes subsequent stages of plant roots and their seed capsules cutting, laying of plant stems without roots and seed capsules onto ground in rows, partial soaking of plant stems, collection and folding into piles. On completion of collection stage and prior to folding stage, gathered stems are battered in order to break stiffened fibers in them. Battered stems are also peeled to clean them from fragments of stiffened fibers and boon with further horizontal laying of fibers that have been so frayed. Battering is carried out by means of plant stems passage between at least one set of two parallel cylinders, which are installed with the possibility of rotation in opposite directions and have splines. Splines are partially engaged with each other, besides stems are parallel to these cylinders as they are passing between cylinders. Peeling stage is carried out in two subsequent stages, at every of which plant stems are peeled along one half of their peripheral contour. Method also includes stage, which consists in recycling of stiffened fibers and boon fragments. ^ EFFECT: application of invention will make it possible to improve quality of raw materials processing. ^ 2 cl, 4 dwg |
