NEW THERMOELECTRIC CONVERSION MATERIAL AND PRODUCING METHOD THEREOF, AND THERMOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A thermoelectric conversion material is provided to replace conventional thermoelectric conversion materials due to good thermoelectric conversion property and to be useful for a thermoelectric conversion element by being added to conventional thermoelectric conversion materials. CONSTITUTION: A thermoelectric conversion material has a composition represented by chemical formula 1: Bi_(1-x)Cu_(1-y)O_(1-z)Te. In chemical formula 1, 0<=x<1, 0<=y<1, 0<=z<1 and x+y+z>0. A method for preparing the thermoelectric conversion material comprises the steps of: mixing Bi2O3, Bi, Cu and Te powders; and sintering the mixture. The sintering temperature is 400-570 °C.
