A fastener for securing a flanged moulding 11 to a support having a stud 13 projecting therefrom is formed from a resilient synthetic plastics material and comprises a body portion 14 having an aperture therethrough to receive the strut, a first undercut face 17 extending lengthwise along one side of the body portion and adapted to clamp a flange 26 of the moulding to the support and a pair of second undercut faces 21, 22 spaced apart on the other side of the body portion and adapted to clamp the other flange 25 of the moulding to the support, wherein the first undercut face 17 is divided by a slot 18 which terminates in the aperture on the body portion and is adapted to receive the stud. In the consruction shown the end portion of the slot is circular for receiving the shank of the stud the end portion being connected to the remainder of the slot by a narrow neck. The undercut faces 21 and 22 are the end faces of the pair of arms which project from opposite ends of the body portion in a direction away from the undercut face 17. |
