PURPOSE: An image service providing method to an calling image area and a device for the same are provided to display an advertisement to the area of a calling image when using an image ARS(Advanced Record System) service. CONSTITUTION: A call setup unit(510) sets an image phone call with an information providing server. According to setup video phone call, a first image data processing unit receives first image data from the information providing sever to display the data. A second image data processing unit(530) displays second video data decided according to an selection input received from a user on one side of first image data. A user interface(540) receives the selection input from the user.
