PURPOSE: A sealant composition is provided to prevent permeation of external O2 or H2O to a cell area in which pixels are present when applied to an organic light-emitting diode. CONSTITUTION: A sealant composition comprises a curable resin and composite nano particles capable of reacting with O2 or H2O, as composite nano particles mixed in the curable resin. The composite nano particles comprise a nano particle core and a polymer coating the nano particle core. A method for preparing the sealant composition includes the steps of: forming composite nano particles in which polymer is coated on at least a part of the surface of the nano particle core by causing polymerization of monomers on the surface of the nano particle core reacting with O2 or H2O; and mixing the composite nano particles with the curable resin.
