PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To scan all groups of codes stored in a storage device allocated to a virtual computer used by clients. SOLUTION: A computer system having a hypervisor has, outside a first kind of virtual computer used by clients, a scanner for reading groups of codes from a storage space allocated to the first kind of virtual computer, and scanning the groups of codes. More specifically, for example, a second kind of virtual computer hidden from the clients is prepared as the subject of management by the hypervisor in addition to the first kind of virtual computer. The scanner includes an assist which reads groups of codes from the storage space of the first kind of virtual computer, and an engine which scans the groups of codes read.
