PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device for preparing a list of an unnecessary generic term to be excluded from a retrieval result, in place of a user. SOLUTION: The server device has a control part for collecting a text stored in a storage part by an indication from an outside, or when a prescribed time comes, for extracting a word from the collected texts, for determining, as the generic term, the word in which an appearance frequency of the first prescribed period is higher than the first predetermined value, and in which an appearance frequency in each of the second prescribed period shorter than the first prescribed period is fluctuated within the second predetermined value range, and for preparing a generic term list that is a list of the generic terms.
