PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which improves impact resistance and vibration resistance by securely fixing a battery element on a battery can without leakage of electrolyte and damage on the battery element. SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 10 includes the battery element 11 formed by laminating a positive electrode 13 and a negative electrode 14 through a separator 15, the battery can 18 which houses the battery element 11 and is sealed, the electrolyte 24 injected in the battery can 18.
