PURPOSE: A seat belt pretensioner is provided to simplify and miniaturize a structure by straightly arranging a gas generator in the rear side of a cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A seat belt pretensioner comprises a cylinder(10), a piston, a pin(30), a gas generator(50), and a wire(40). The piston is installed in the rear end of the cylinder. The pin is installed in the rear side of the piston in a diametral direction of the cylinder. The gas generator is connected to the rear end of the cylinder, and supplies combustion gas for jetting the piston. The wire has a first connection part(41) and a second connection part(42). The first connection part is connected to a seat belt. The second connection part is wound around the pin through the piston, and fixed to the piston.
