<p>The method involves controlling an electric motor i.e. brush motor, with a control signal that is assigned to a preset rated speed. Speed of the motor is measured, and is adjusted during controlling of the motor with the control signal. Control for the speed of the motor is operated, when the measured speed within a speed range lies above the rated speed. The control is executed independent of the measured speed to adjust the speed of the motor to the rated speed. A preset setting time is maintained after controlling the motor. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a method for limiting power of an electric motor for a fan in a motor vehicle.</p> |
