<p>The part (2) i.e. socket, has stud retainers (5a, 5b) for retaining studs (4a, 4b) of another part (3) i.e. plug, of a plug-in connector (1). A locking mechanism (9) is cooperated with a locking element (6) of the latter part while applying an electrical voltage (U) i.e. direct current voltage, between the stud retainers and the studs such that the parts are non-separable from each other. The locking mechanism includes actuators moving a closing element i.e. bolt, based on a thermal deformation due to a current flow or based on a polymer deformation due to the voltage present in the actuators. An independent claim is also included for a plug-in connector part i.e. plug, including a locking element.</p> |
