摘要 FIELD: aircraft engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: propeller hub barrel is fitted on propeller blade shank and bolted thereto. Said barrel is furnished with insert and ring and washer arranged on the barrel horizontal surface, said washer being provided with a ledge with pin screwed therein. Bolts passing through washer grooves are screwed into three blunt threaded holes in blade shank. Every channel accommodates a barrel with races with balls laid thereon through channel holes. Barrel horizontal surface has, on housing center side and ring inner side, races with balls laid thereon and pressed by ring. Propeller control mechanism comprises a yoke with its roll accommodating guide bush, extra guide bush, flange, extra flange, cone and cone cup, as well as and tie rod comprising two halves separated by thrust bearings. Aforesaid yoke engages blade shank barrel pin. Tie rod can move free along yoke roll hole and is coupled with propeller pitch control lever. Yoke roll houses a constant-tension spring with its one end resting upon yoke roll face and the other end resting on cone barrel. The latter makes yoke front stop and has outer thread for it to be screwed in cone threaded hole to allow the barrel to move relative to cone on screwing it in/out or increasing yoke travel, thus, varying blade angles. ^ EFFECT: simple design, higher reliability, longer life and flight safety. ^ 2 cl, 20 dwg
