The invention concerns a device for measuring spoke tensions in an wheel (1) comprising a hub (13) with a shaft (2), a rim (7) and tensioned spokes (5) between flanges (4) of the hub and the rim, comprising a clamp (3) for holding the shaft, a strike unit (6) for touching spokes in order to set the spokes into vibration, a vibration sensor (15) for detecting the vibration of a spoke and means for calculating from the detected vibration the tension in the spoke. In accordance with the invention the vibration sensor determines changes in position of the spoke at a high sampling rate.
