<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical film achieving simple and continuous production with high productivity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an optical film includes steps of: forming an active energy ray-shielding layer 30 by printing or applying an active energy ray-shielding ink in a prescribed pattern, the ink containing an active energy ray-shielding component that blocks active energy rays on one surface of an active energy ray-curable resin layer 10a that exhibits reduction in the transmittance for visible light by irradiation with active energy rays; irradiating the active energy ray-curable resin layer 10a with active energy rays through the side where the active energy ray-shielding layer 30 is formed; and removing the active energy ray-shielding layer 30.
