FACILITY FOR SCREW CENTRIFUGAL STRENGTHENING

FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: facility consists of disk with radial slots and deforming elements arranged in radial slots of disk and designed to perform impacts onto surface of screw under effect of centrifugal force. Radial slots of the disk are made in form of pneumatic cylinders, wherein compressed air is supplied along a radial channel and circular grooves. The deforming elements are made in form of two-step rollers. The step of smaller diametre of two-step rollers is made in form of a pneumatic cylinder rod designed to perform impacts and to plastically deform screw surface. The step of bigger diametre of two-step rollers is made in form of a piston, has a groove with a seal ring and is installed in the pneumatic cylinder. A ring with holes is arranged on peripheral surface of the disk. Holes in the ring are made for free passage of steps of smaller diametre of the deforming elements through them and for holding the latter in radial slots of the disk. ^ EFFECT: expanded functionality, raised efficiency and reduced expenditures. ^ 4 dwg, 1 ex, 1 tbl
