METHOD FOR MEASURING PRE-STRESS OR STRAIN USING FIBER BRAGG GRATING(FBG) SENSOR

PURPOSE: A method for measuring tensile force or deformation using a Fiber Bragg Grating sensor is provided to accurately measure tensile force or deformation of a steel wire or a steel bar of a prestressed concrete structure. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring tensile force or deformation using a Fiber Bragg Grating sensor is as follows. More than one hole are punched in a fastening member of a structure(S110). A FBG sensor is inserted into the punched holes(S120). The punched holes in which the FBG sensor is inserted are permanently fixed by resin or adhesive(S130). A stress change of a head nut of a tension steel bar or a fixing port of a tension steel wire is measured using the FBG sensor(S140). A change of tensile force is calculated based on the stress change(S150).
