PURPOSE: A crack prevention device of a continuous casting facility for a thin slab is provided to suppress inner crack by suppressing the production of columnar dendrite of molten metal which is coagulate during the continuous casting of the thin slab. CONSTITUTION: A crack prevention device of a continuous casting facility for a thin slab comprises a mold(20), a secondary cooling strand(30), and an electromagnet stirrer(100). The mold solidifies molten steel which is ladled from a tundish(10) of a thin slab(S). The secondary cooling strand is composed of rollers which are positioned beneath the mold and rotate. The secondary cooling strand transfers the thin slab coagulated from the mold. The electromagnet stirrer is formed between the mold and the secondary cooling strand.
