An independent claim is included for a test kit for isolating nucleic acids from nucleic acid-containing samples, comprising a buffer containing guanidine hydrochloride, guanidine isothiocyanate or guanidine thiocyanate, ethanol, separation column for nucleic acids, washing buffer, sodium citrate or sodium chloride solution and collecting container.
