PURPOSE: A data input circuit and a semiconductor memory device including the same are provided to reduce the number of circuits for a data inversion by including circuits for a data inversion as much as the number of global lines. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of data input circuits(851 to 858) reflects inversion information to input data. A plurality of global lines(GI00<0:7> to GI07<0:7>) transfers the output data of the data input circuits. A plurality of memory banks(810 to 840) stores data transferred from the global lines. An inversion buffer unit buffers the inversion information which is input as an inversion pin. An inversion arrangement unit parallel arranges the inversion information and transfers the information to an inversion unit.
