PURPOSE: A magnetic engine is provided to generate power for an engine by changing repulsion and attraction of a permanent magnet according to the location of a piston. CONSTITUTION: A repulsion preventing part(300) is arranged between a first permanent magnet and a second permanent magnet and cuts off the repulsion. A piston is reciprocated along the piston guide to the upward and downward direction. The repulsion preventing part is momentarily opened and operates the repulsion between the first and the second permanent magnet when the piston is fully raised. A crank shaft transfers a torque to a power transmission unit(700). The repulsion preventing part is momentarily closed and cuts off the repulsion between the first and the second permanent magnet when the piston is fully dropped.
