PURPOSE: A filter housing facilitating a coupling process of an enclosure and a head and a method of coupling are provided to fix a head and an enclosure in a connected state by jamming a protrusion of the enclosure to a hooking protrusion of the head, and to facilitate the coupling process by a ring nut without a separate operator to hold the head. CONSTITUTION: A filter housing facilitating a coupling process of an enclosure and a head and a method of coupling comprise the following: an enclosure(100) in a cylindrical form with an opened upper side while including plural jamming ends(120) with a protrusion(121) and a combining protrusion; a head(200) with hooking protrusions(230) jamming the protrusion in the enclosure when the upper side of the enclosure is connected to the lower side of the head which including a screw thread in the outer circumference; and a ring nut with a screw thread matching the screw thread in the head to connect the head and the enclosure.
