PURPOSE: A line scan sensor type digital crack width measuring device, and a method thereof are provided to improve reliability and accuracy of measurement. CONSTITUTION: A line scan sensor type digital crack width measuring device comprises a light source radiating part(110), a lens(120), an analog/digital converting part(130), and a line scan sensor(140). The light source radiating part radiates light source to a structure. The lens receives light reflected from the structure, and outputs an analog voltage signal. The analog/digital converting part converts the analog voltage signal into a digital image. The line scan sensor calculates a crack width of the structure based on the digital image.
