PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which presents the display directions of a three-dimensional image readably according to the three-dimensionally scanned volume areas. SOLUTION: The three-dimensional ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus collects three-dimensionally a two-dimensional ultrasonic image data to form the three-dimensional ultrasonic image data to display, wherein the system displays a three-dimensional indicator on the same picture as the three-dimensionally displayed image data, the indicator forming readably the top, bottom, left, right, and the collection directions of the two-dimensional ultrasonic image data; and the system changes the display direction of the indicator in association with the three-dimensionally displayed image data.
