The miniaturized high current plug (1) comprises longitudinally extending pipe shaped housing (2) with a triangular shaped cross section and four plug contact elements that are mounted in the recesses of an insulating body. The contact elements are arranged in a triangle-grid, where the distance between the centers of two plug contact elements, is provided between 8 millimeters to 10 millimeters, particularly 8.5 millimeters to 9.5 millimeters.
