PURPOSE: A connection system between online / off-line media using watermark and the method thereof are provided to produce a new advertisement / publicity model using watermarking and off-line contents. CONSTITUTION: A watermark contents generator selects watermark data and contents corresponding to each database according to a set schedule. The watermark contents generator adds a separate data for discrimination according to use of the selected watermark data. The watermark contents generator creates a unit watermark using the watermark data. The watermark contents generator inserts the unit watermark into the selected contents. A watermark contents detector extracts the data for discrimination from the watermark data.
