PURPOSE: A switch for a branching apparatus is provided to prevent damage to apparatuses by preventing the inflow of foreign materials in an exposed place. CONSTITUTION: An installation method of a switch for a branching apparatus comprises following steps. A track girder of a movable switch is divided into movable track girders. A main rail(107) is fixed in the movable track girder and the fixed track girder to drive a vehicle. An intermediate rail(108) is positioned between the main rails. The main rail is supported by the intermediate rail and a guide groove(110) is formed in the intermediate rail.
