The cassette magazines can be introduced into the apparatus 12 via an input chute 16 and can be removed at an output chute 18. The cooling device may comprise cooling elements in the base plate 22 and/or cooling fins 24. The transporting device may be a screw drive 28. The device may also include a data reader to recognize a cassette code and a temperature sensor.
