PURPOSE: A ventilation fan installation structure which installs a ventilation fan on a ceiling and a method thereof are provided to steadily mounting a ventilation fan using a space which is fit to the ventilation fan to be inserted in and mounted on. CONSTITUTION: A ventilation fan is installed inside a ceiling using a spring(50), an anchor bolt(40), and a first connector(60). The spring fixes inside the ceiling while supporting a body(10) of the ventilation fan . The spring comprises an elastic member, a rod part, and latches(55a,55b). The rod part is respectively expanded from both ends of the elastic member. The latch is respectively formed on both end of the rod part. The anchor bolt is buried and fixed in and on a ceiling slab and is connected to the spring. A second connecting member(41) connected to the spring is formed in one end of the anchor bolt. The first connector is mounted to the ventilation fan and connected to the spring.
