PURPOSE: A composition containing mineral mixture for suppressing allergic inflammation is provided to suppress degranulation of adipocytes and cytokine secretion. CONSTITUTION: A composition for suppressing allergic inflammation contains mineral mixture. The allergic inflammation is induced by administering ovalbumin in BALB/c mouse. The composition as effects of reducing Ig(immunoglobulin E), IL-4[interleukin-4], TNF-a[tumor necrosis factor alpha] mRNA[messenger RNA], and histamine. The effects are confirmed through animal cell culture, allergic inflammation induction, ELISA anaylsis, cytokine measurement using ELS, total RNA isolation, and RT-PCR.
