PURPOSE: A device for maintaining speed of a vehicle is provided, which makes speed maintenance possible without applying the fixed power to the hand lever. CONSTITUTION: A device for maintaining speed of a vehicle comprises a fixed lever(1), a fixing unit, a fixing plate(2), a first bracket(4), a second bracket(5), a spring(6), and a pin. The fixed lever is connected to the accelerating pedal. The fixing unit is connected so that the fixed lever can be spun and moved. The fixing plate comprises the guide unit guiding the rotational motion of the fixed lever. The first bracket is installed to the fixed lever. The second bracket is installed to the fixed lever. The spring is placed between the first bracket and the second bracket and applies the elastic force in the direction that isolates the first bracket and the second bracket. The pin is installed to support the guide unit of the fixing plate.
