<p>It is intended to provide a microneedle device having microneedles which can be easily inserted into the skin surface and dissolve or swell therein. The microneedle device is provided with a base, and conical or multipyramidal microneedles for insertion into the skin surface arranged on the base. The microneedles for insertion into the skin surface are made of a material containing one or more types of biologically derived substances selected from the group consisting of chitosan, collagen, gelatine, and hyaluronic acid in an amount of 50% by weight or more and can dissolve or swell in the body.</p> |
