PURPOSE: An air conditioning system which performs cooling and heating is provided to prevent overheat in a heating mode. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning system comprises a compressor, indoor heat exchangers(110,110'), an outdoor heat exchanger(210), and a refrigerant heating unit(300). The compressor compresses refrigerant. The indoor heat exchanger condenses the refrigerant compressed in the compressor in a heating mode. The outdoor heat exchanger evaporates the refrigerant condensed in the indoor heat exchanger. The refrigerant heating unit heats the refrigerant condensed in the indoor heat exchanger. The refrigerant is inhaled by the compressor after being evaporated in the indoor heat exchanger. The refrigerant is bypassed or inhaled in the compressor after being heated by the refrigerant heating unit.
