PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display device is provided to perform etching after attaching an attachment film with superior anti-solution and bonding reliability to the attachment film, thereby easily protecting a part where etching is not necessary. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display device comprises the following steps. An upper substrate on which a thin film pattern is formed contacts a lower substrate(S20). At least part of an edge area of two bonded substrates are sealed by a sealing composition(S30). At attachment film is attached to parts of the upper and lower substrates where etching is not needed(S40). The upper and lower substrates are etched(S50).
