摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A method and a system for allocating sub-channels by exploiting virtual cell concept in an orthogonal frequency division multiple access systems are provided to reduce an inter-cell interference by assigning a sub-channel based on a virtual cell using a first sub-channel group and a second sub-channel group to a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A request for allocation of sub-channel is received from a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal is located on virtual cells(210, 220, 230). A usable sub-channel is allocated among the sub-channel of the first sub-channel group of the virtual cell in the mobile terminal. The sub-channel of the first sub-channel group is occupied by the other mobile terminal. The sub-channel of one second sub-channel group is allocated among a plurality of second sub-channel groups of the virtual cell in the mobile terminal. The virtual cell comprises three sectors, each of which belongs to different cell. The three sectors use the sub-channel which is not overlapped with each other.</p>
