METHOD FOR PREPARING MICROARRAYS BY USING OPTICALLY TRANSPARENT ARRAY MOLDS WITH AN ARRAY OF CONCAVES

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a microarray using an array template is provided to require a large amount of biological material and to prevent cross contamination between materials on the surface of a substrate. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a microarray comprises: a step of preparing an optically transparent array mold in which a concave surface(7) is arranged; a step of welding a substrate(12) on the concave surface to form an assembly of the array mold and a substrate having a chamber; and a step of introducing biological material into the chamber through a fluid inlet of the assembly to fix the biological material on the substrate surface inside the chamber. The concave surface forms a channel by the connection of a fluid outlet of the first concave surface and a fluid inlet of a second concave surface. The array mold is made of PDMS(5).
