THERMOELECTRIC MODULE USING SUBSTRATE WITH PROMINENCE AND DEPRESSION

PURPOSE: A thermoelectric module with a concavo-convex substrate and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the efficiency of the thermoelectric module by forming a concavo-convex part on a substrate and reducing the height of a thermoelectric element. CONSTITUTION: An upper concavo-convex part(111) and a lower concavo-convex part(121) are respectively formed on the one side of an upper substrate(110) and a lower substrate(120). The concavo-convex parts are formed to be crossed each other. The p-type and the n-type elements of a thermoelectric element(130) are formed on the upper and the lower concavo-convex parts. The assembly stability of the p-type and the n-type thermoelectric elements are secured. A junction electrode layer(140) is formed on the upper side of the concavo-convex parts. The junction electrode layer mechanically combines the concavo-convex parts and the thermoelectric elements.
