<p>PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a control method thereof are provided to change the key arrangement structure of a key pad depending on whether a user is a left hander or a right hander. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(130) includes multiple function keys. A display module(151) displays the location of the function keys. According to the left hand/right hand grip status of a user about a main body, a control unit(180) changes the function of the function keys in the input unit and the display position of the function keys in the display module. If a preset left area or right area is touched on the touch screen, the control unit changes the function and display position of function keys to the left/right. A fingerprint sensor(142) senses the fingerprint of a left or right hand of the user.</p> |
