PURPOSE: A portable low power consumption microwave plasma generator is provided to minimize the power loss by maximizing voltage and electric field in a low power hand-held microwave plasma generator. CONSTITUTION: A coaxial cable(10) comprises a dielectric(6) that surrounds a first internal conductor(7) and a first internal conductor. An outer conductor(4) surrounds a coaxial cable. A linking conductor(2) comprises one or more gas incoming pipes(3). The linking conductor connects electrically one end of a coaxial cable, a first internal conductor, and outer conductor. A connecting member(1) comprises a second internal conductor(8) connected via the outer conductor to the first internal conductor. The dielectric is air. The inactive gas flows in through the gas incoming pipe. A microwave is applied through the second internal conductor.
