PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a key button of a mobile communication terminal and the key button using the same are provided to reduce abrasion of numbers or characters in the front side of a key button by forming a transparent window with number and character shapes on the front side of the key button. CONSTITUTION: A key button body with a groove and a depth corresponding to a number or character of a key button is formed(10). A filler is filled in the groove of the key button groove(20). The groove of the key button body is filled by melting the filler by thermally processing the key button body(30). The filler filled in the groove is exposed by polishing the surface of the thermally processed key button body(40).
