<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that prevents the degradation of display quality to pixels having various pitches. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device (100), a pixel electrode (124) includes a first partial electrode (124a) having edges (124s1, 124s2) extending in a first direction (F1) and a second partial electrode (124b) having edges (124s3, 124s4) extending in a second direction (F2) orthogonal to the first direction (F1). An angle (θ) formed by a column direction and the first direction (F1) is different from an angle (90°-θ) formed by the column direction and the second direction (F2) and a length (pa) of a component formed by projecting a pixel pitch (P) in the column direction in the second direction (F2) is different from a length (pb) of a component formed by projecting the pixel pitch (P) in the column direction in the first direction (F1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
