<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal mask which securely prevents dropping of a recognition mark, and easily forms the recognition mark on a foil article. <P>SOLUTION: The recognition mark is formed on the metal mask 1 through a process for forming a thin-film resist 2 on one surface of the metal mask 1, on which an opening pattern for mounting a conductive ball on a bump forming object or for forming on a thin film forming object by deposition; a process for removing the resist 2 on a part for forming the recognition mark of the one surface of the metal mask 1; a process for forming a darker color film than other part by electrolytic treatment in a predetermined position of the one surface of the metal mask 1 by immersing the part for forming the recognition mark of the metal mask 1 and an electrode 4 in an electrolyte 5 and connecting the metal mask 1 and the electrode 4 to an AC power supply 6; and a process for removing the resist 2 from the one surface of the metal mask 1 after the film is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
