<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent polymer conductive film having high conductivity, high durability, high transparency, good moldability, and the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The transparent polymer conductive film contains deoxyribonucleic acid having a weight-average molecular weight of 2,000,000 to 20,000,000 based on measurement by electrophoretic measurement and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene). The method for producing the transparent polymer conductive film comprises mixing an aqueous solution of deoxyribonucleic acid having a weight-average molecular weight of 2,000,000 to 20,000,000 with an aqueous dispersion of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) containing polystyrene sulfonic acid, and casting the mixture for formation thereof.
