PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further surely remove a metallic component in fuel. SOLUTION: An ion exchange body 11 for adsorbing a metallic ion by an ion exchange is arranged in an immersed state in a fuel passage (for example, in a fuel filter 7) for making the fuel flow. Thus, since water exists around the ion exchange body 11, when the fuel passes through the periphery of the ion exchange body 11, the metallic component included in the fuel is surely ionized. Thus, the metallic component in the fuel is adsorbed to the ion exchange body 11 by the ion exchange, and the metallic component in the fuel can be surely removed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
