PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make film thickness of an organic electroluminescence layer equal. SOLUTION: The light emitting device 1 includes: an anode 9a provided on a gate dielectric film 11; a drive transistor 6 formed on one side of the anode 9a and forming a circuit with the anode 9a; a dummy transistor 20 formed on an opposite side to the drive transistor 6 with respect to the anode 9a and arranged without being connected to the anode 9a and the drive transistor 6; a pair of partitions 13 provided on the drive transistor 6 and the dummy transistor 20 on both sides of the anode 9a; a hole injecting layer 9b formed on the anode 9a; a light emitting layer 9c formed on the hole injecting layer 9b, and a cathode 9d formed on the light emitting layer 9c and the partitions 13.
