<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software keyboard that eliminates the need for installing any software at all in a target computer without damaging the operation environment of the software keyboard. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The input device of a computer is configured of an input support computer 1 and a code/signal conversion device 2, and the input support computer 1 is configured by connecting an input support display 11 for displaying a software keyboard 111 and an input support mouse 12 for input of keys from the software keyboard 111, and the code/signal conversion device 2 is configured of a code input part 23, a conversion processing part 24 and a signal output part 25, and the code input part 23 and the input support computer 1 are connected through a code input line 21, and the signal output part 25 and the input target computer 3 are connected through a signal output line 22.
