PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound usable for treating diseases, e.g. osteopathy, especially osteoporosis, in mammals, treatable by administering a prostaglandin EP4 receptor agonist; to provide a pharmaceutical composition containing the compound; and to provide a method for using the pharmaceutical composition. SOLUTION: The compound is represented by formula (I). Pharmaceutically acceptable salts, solvates, prodrugs, single isomers or a racemic or non-racemic mixture of isomers thereof, are also provided.
