The invention relates to a casing interior (1) for the dry intermediate storage of at least one irradiated combustible element. Said casing interior (1) has a storied structure provided with at least two modules (M1, M2, M3, M4) positioned one above the other, each module (M1, M2, M3, M4) consisting of a good heat conductor material, with at least one receiving opening (2a, 2b) for said fuel element(s) in the central part and at least one recessed (3a, 3b) peripheral heat dissipator, and each module being arranged on a perforated bearing plate (4) in such a way as to enable the passage of said combustible element(s). The perforated bearing plates (4) of said structure are positioned and assembled by means of a holding system (5'+5+5"), with play (J) between the top of the module of a stepstorey (M,) and the perforated bearing plate (4) of the storey (M?+1) located directly above. The invention also relates to an intermediate storage casing (10) with such an interior (1), and to the corresponding storage method. |
