DATA CONVERSION DEVICE, DATA CONVERSION METHOD, AND PROGRAM

A data conversion device for generating a highly-safe hash value having an enhanced analysis difficulty is realized.  The data conversion device includes a stirring section for stirring input data and compressing sections for compressing the input data including division data sets into which a message data set to be converted is divided.  A part of the compressing sections connected in multiple stages receives both the output of the stirring section and a division data set of the message data set and performs data compression.  Data is stirred at least at every certain timing during multiple compression rounds.  Therefore the data conversion device for generating a highly-safe hash value with an enhanced analysis difficulty is realized.
