A device (1) for cleaning a sheet-like member is provided with a nozzle member (12), which has a suction port (15) at the leading end section and a nozzle port (18) wherein the distance (Hx) between the inner surfaces (19) facing in the thickness direction (Dh) of the sheet-like member becomes smaller as the nozzle port is away from the suction port (15).  In a state where the suction port (15) is disposed in the vicinity of an end section of a sheet-like member (2) held by a holding section (11), a suction section (13) introduces a suction force to the suction port (15).  An air current (20) which flows toward the inside of the nozzle member (12) from the external of the nozzle member (12) through a space between the nozzle member (12) and the sheet-like member (2) is generated with suction.
